American designer John Elliott founded his namesake brand of menswear in 2012, the result of Elliott resolving what was missing from his own wardrobe. Elliott’s focus on creating clothes from unique fabrics in fashionably functional designs, wholly classic yet undeniably modern, inspire the meticulous approach to development that results in the clothes’ unequivocal quality: fabrics are sourced and developed in Japan; French terry fabrics are custom-knit in the United States to precise specifications; zippers, the ultimate functional feature, are sourced from Riri in Switzerland. Finally, John Elliott’s collections are produced in Los Angeles, California under the designer’s care.
